On May 13, Jiangsu Provincial Market Supervision Bureau and Huai'an Municipal Government held Jiangsu Province's "5·20" World Metrology Day Event and the second high-quality development conference of the instrumentation industry. Liu Hongbin, deputy director of the Measurement Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation, Sun Hubing, deputy director of the Jiangsu Provincial Bureau of Market Regulation, and Zhang Xing, deputy director of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, attended the event and delivered speeches. Measurement technology supports the role. Sun Hubing emphasized the need to vigorously develop the instrumentation industry. The second is to increase investment in scientific research, hold industrial metrology technology innovation challenges, establish technology alliances, build modern advanced measurement system service platforms, and promote "stuck-neck" technological breakthroughs and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. The third is to cultivate advantageous industrial clusters, cultivate a group of leading enterprises with international influence and distinctive "single champion" enterprises, and promote the construction of instrumentation industry clusters with unique characteristics, complementary advantages, and complete chains. The fourth is to strengthen talent training, promote the construction of instrumentation disciplines, build a national metrology talent training base, and create a high-level talent team.
